Q&A

Find out more about life in the Triangle, directly from Jessica Holt!

What makes the Triangle different from other places you have lived, worked or visited?

As a native North Carolinian growing up just outside of Raleigh, I have always loved this area. For work, I travel quite often and enjoy visiting new places, but I’m also always comparing those cities to Raleigh and excited to come home.

What activity in the Triangle should be on everyone’s bucket list?

Visiting the Raleigh Beer Garden! It’s deceiving from the outside how large of a space it is with both indoor and outdoor seating, and with more than 360 beers on draft there’s always something new to try.

Where is your favorite place to spend an afternoon in the Triangle?

Museum Park at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Being outside embracing our gorgeous weather in the Triangle and walking through the art park is so peaceful and relaxing.

What’s your favorite hidden gem in the Triangle?

Downtown Cary’s burgeoning food and drink scene. Spending an afternoon walking around downtown Cary is wonderful and you can find some fantastic spots including Pizzeria Faulisi, Hanks Downtown Dive, Taipei 101, La Farm Bakery, Pharmacy Bottle + Beverage, Bond Brothers Beer Company, Chatham Street Wine Market and more.
